Britney Spears in Vegas: It's Britney Betch!!

Y'all, it finally happened!! I went to see Britney Spears in Vegas and my life is now complete, thank u and goodnight.

My friend and I had been planning to see Miss Knee for years, but finally decided to bite the bullet when she announced that she would be ending her residency in December. Yes, our seats were in the last row of the auditorium (hence this trash picture quality), but the place is small enough that it didn't matter one bit and I'll be darned if I didn't have the time of my life.

First of all, I was already overwhelmed by the time I sat down because several of Britney's most iconic costumes were on display in the lobby, including her stewardess outfit from 'Toxic' and the red jumpsuit from 'Oops! I Did it Again." Like wrap me up right there bc I am good y'all.

I must admit that I nearly cried when she first appeared on stage, because if you know me you know this is a big freaking deal. Seeing Britney dance with such joy in person was honestly such an amazing experience, and as a fan, I feel lucky to have had it.

Her set list was also equally fabulous, with my girl covering all her hits, including a totally badass melody of ‘…Baby One More Time’ and ‘Oops!’, as well as songs from every era of her career. And then she sang 'Toxic' standing in a tree and I kind of lost it. Also, her dancers were insane and I just need to shout that out bc tbh I wish I could move like that.

Yes, we all know she wasn't singing live, but who even cares? Seeing an iconic entertainer live her life and have fun doing it was incredibly enjoyable and crazy amazing experience for someone who is as big a fan as I am, and frankly, I'm willing to bet you would have had a good time even if you weren't a fan.

Also at one point, she brought a guy from the audience up, and when she found out he was from Georgia she told the audience that there ain't nothing like a Southern boy and it was honestly the cutest thing ever and I stan.

But by far my favorite part of the whole night was just seeing how much Britney was enjoying herself, because that's what you want to see from a performer when you go to a concert and that's what we love to see from Britney as fans — girlfriend has been through a lot and she deserves it.

All in all, an outstanding moment in my life, although my fingers are crossed she does another residency as one of my personal goals is to have the closest seat I possibly can at a Britney show bc dreams come true people. Until next time y'all!
